Nine Before Noon is building a curated network of experienced Landscape Maintenance and Operations Managers interested in hearing about future opportunities with commercial landscaping companies, resorts, residential communities and property-services businesses across United States.

We would like to connect with professionals who understand both the horticultural and operational sides of landscape maintenance: leading field teams, protecting service quality, managing labour and resources, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Indicative salary benchmark:

Landscape Maintenance compensation varies according to portfolio size, team responsibility, location and whether the role includes commercial account management.

Typical market guidance:

  • Developing Maintenance Manager or experienced Supervisor: $50,000–$65,000
  • Experienced Landscape Maintenance Manager: $65,000–$85,000
  • Senior, multi-branch or large-portfolio manager: $85,000–$105,000+

Typical experience and qualifications:

  • Previous leadership experience in commercial landscape maintenance.
  • Strong practical knowledge of plants, turf and seasonal conditions.
  • Experience leading multiple crews or a substantial property portfolio.
  • The ability to plan labour, routes, materials and equipment.
  • Confident client-facing communication.
  • Basic budgeting, reporting and computer skills.
  • A valid driver's licence with an acceptable driving record.
  • Legal authorisation to work in the United States.

Depending on the position, an employer may value:

  • A horticulture, landscape management or related qualification.
  • Certified Horticulture Professional status.
  • Pest-control, fertiliser or pesticide credentials applicable to the work.
  • English communication skills - additional language skills might be required based on region
  • Experience with landscape-management or field-service software.
